If you decide you need a rest from the beach and pool, try renting a jet ski or boat, do some deep sea fishing, parasailing or shop in some of the local artisan stores. Or take a drive down Longboat Key to Sarasota where you'll find the Mote Marine Aquarium, art museums, cultural events, plenty of great restaurants, shopping and so much more.
